Musa Takar

Mohamud Takar is the Vice Chancellor of Administration at Puntland University of Science and Technology (PUST). In recognition of his contribution to education, Muse served as Dean and member of the Board at East Africa University, Galdogob Campus, Puntland, Somalia, from 2015 to 2019. Muse holds a Doctorate of Education (Honorary) degree from Somali National University (SNU) and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Mathematics. With over 38 years of experience in teaching and educational management, he has worked at East Africa University, Red Sea University, and Garowe Teachers College. He has also worked as a teacher and principal in secondary schools in Somalia and at the Forestry Range and Wildlife Institute (FRAWI) in Afgoye, Somalia.
